Shoreline Lake
Shoreline Lake is a 50-acre, manmade saltwater waterway for numerous water sports, including sailing, windsurfing, kayaking and canoeing. The Shoreline Aquatic Center offers a wide range of rental watercraft, including pedal boats, canoes, kayaks, rowboats, windsurfers and sailboats, as well as instructional programs (both group and private). Rengstorff House
The Rengstorff House is a 12-room historic house and is one of the finest examples of Victorian Italianate architecture on the West Coast. Lakeside Cafe
The Lakeside Cafe offers indoor and patio seating and is open for breakfast, lunch and early evening snacks. The Cafe also includes a meeting area suitable for a range of functions, including birthdays, anniversaries, receptions, showers, holiday events, graduations, baptisms, confirmations, Bar/Bat mitzvahs and business meetings. Full catering is also available, along with specialty food items, such as picnic baskets, espresso and gourmet desserts.
Trails
Shoreline at Mountain View is also home to a network of trails, bridges and roadways for use by pedestrians, joggers, bicyclists and inline skaters. Many trails at Shoreline connect with other regional trail systems, including Palo Alto Baylands, Bay Loop and Hetch Hetchy.
